What is the purpose of the kickball tournament?
This tournament is about bringing our community together to raise awareness for cerebral palsy, support STRIDE Adaptive Sports, and have a whole lot of fun along the way. The event is inspired by the Thomas family’s own connection to cerebral palsy through Bill and Sarah’s daughter, Riley.
Where does the money raised go?
A portion of the proceeds from the tournament will benefit STRIDE Adaptive Sports, an organization dedicated to creating opportunities for individuals with disabilities through adaptive sports and recreation.
What is STRIDE Adaptive Sports?
STRIDE Adaptive Sports provides inclusive recreational opportunities that help individuals with disabilities build confidence, develop life skills, make friends, and realize their potential. Their mission is a big part of why we're bringing our community together for this event.
Who is organizing the tournament?
The tournament is being organized by Thomas Pest Services, with help from Michella Hand and our community partners.
Why is Thomas Pest Services hosting this event?
Giving back is part of who we are. Our family has a personal connection to cerebral palsy, and this event allows us to turn that connection into something positive, bringing people together, raising awareness, and supporting an organization doing meaningful work in our community.
